It is not proven its existence as a real person. Several authors located in different places after birth and description of his life is contradictory. Until the time he lived also varies according to the authors but they all agree on who lived around 600a.C. [1]. Phaedrus in his fables of Aesop, Aesop's fables collection, places him in the city of Phrygia. Suidas also wrote that came from the same city. [2]. In classical times the figure was surrounded by legendary elements and has even questioned his existence by some historians. His fables were used as textbooks in schools and Plato says that Socrates had memorized the Aesop's fables. Aesop's fables belong to what is called the Archaic period, they take their strong on folk tales and is considered by some as a satire. The structure of the fable Aesopian has been defined by various authors, but the most complete is attributed to Nojgaard who "in the narrative distinguishes three essential elements or moments: 1) The situation, in which a specific conflict arises between two animals usually figures, 2) the performance of the characters, which should be free of them among the possibilities of the situation, and 3) evaluation of the chosen behavior, evident in the pragmatic outcome, success or failure produced by such a choice "*.
