Angel Schlesser began his career in the fashion world working in the studio of designer John Rufete. Shortly after he presented his first menswear collection for autumn / winter 1984/1985. Since 1988, Angel Schlesser presents its collections at the Pasarela Cibeles in Madrid, where they participate continuously until 1999, when it passes to march independently with some members of the Association of Fashion Designers of Spain (Jesus del Pozo, Antonio Pernas, Roberto Verino and Modesto Lomba) to return to Cibeles in 2000.
