Juan Ramón Sánchez Guinot (Trillo, Guadalajara, 1957 - Madrid, April 11, 2008) was an actor, singer, Spanish painter and sculptor, known for her role as Chema the baker in the Spanish version of Sesame Street in the mid- 80. In the '90s, Juan Ramon was the group's main tambourine Red de San Luis, with whom he won the Sopot Festival in Poland. Juan Ramon Sanchez Guinot joined the cast of Sesame Street in 1983. At that time he met his wife, Chelo Vivar, with whom he had a son. In the 80s, was Chelo warrens who encouraged him to stand for the choice of sharing the children's series Sesame Street, where she was going to participate embodying a spinet. At the end won the role and became one of the most popular faces of television time. He starred as Chema, a jovial and singing bartender, who was attentive and willing to assist the innocent misdeeds of the giant hedgehog and ended up being the best friend of his and Don Pimpón in the extensive career of these unforgettable characters that started in 1983 and finished four years later. His television appearances are limited to a chapter in the series Farmacia de Guardia and thieves go to the office, and the gala How are you? TVE. He participated in films such as Matador (1986), directed by Pedro Almodovar, and Where the Heart Is (1990), John Boorman and starring Uma Thurman, among other interpretations. In his later years, he led the Board Tribueñe, a small theater in Madrid, which it acquired in 2003 with his company. The last time I stepped on stage was in 2006 in the representation of the altar of greed, lust and death, Valle-Inclan in 2005 and 2006. His latest work, unfinished, was the preparation of a montage of Lorca and a Nabokov wanted brand new in fall 2008.
