La Feria de Valladolid held on October the second edition of the Alternative Fuel Vehicle and a pioneering competition in content, aimed at professionals involved in the development and consolidation of vehicles and fuels that provide alternatives to traditional systems mobility. The event, to be held from 14 to 16 October 2010, is a platform for exhibition, trade and dissemination. The challenges of this second call are given the increase in supply, promote international participation and develop a technical program of interest to exhibitors and visitors, continuing the line of work last year. The theoretical content is organized into technical sessions, panel discussions, lectures and discussions in which speakers discuss issues such as the present and future of hybrid and electric vehicles, the use of fuels such as LPG and natural gas, the use of biofuels in the transport sector and synthetic fuels such as hydrogen. Among the attractions of alternative fuels and vehicles Hall also stresses the test area in which visitors, speakers and exhibitors themselves can drive vehicles presented by companies participating in the contest. The second edition of the institution is supported by the Ministry of Industry and the Junta de Castilla y León, through IDEA and EREN, respectively.
