Satori

It is sometimes used interchangeably with the word kenshou, but the latter refers to the first perception of the nature of the Buddha, or true nature, referring to awakening. Kenshou is not a permanent state of enlightenment, but a timely nod to the true nature of existence. Satori on the other hand, is used to refer to deep or ultimate enlightenment. You use the word satori to refer to the stages of enlightenment of Gautama Buddha and the patriarchs of Buddhism. According to DT Suzuki, satori is the raison d'ĂȘtre of Zen, without which Zen is "not zen." Thus, every step, every nuance, both doctrinal and disciplinary is directly to the Satori. [1]. The term satori is also analogous to the concept of creativity, in the sense that reconciles apparent opposition. Also known as the moment of discovery (the "eureka!" Archimedes) by clarifying that a paradox arises, which is the moment of catharsis or purification. In sport the word satori describes a state of harmony between body, mind and emotions, in which the athlete is able to perform their best. When the three centers are simultaneously in this state, the athlete gives his best. At that moment the emotions are isolated from the body, which is dedicated and dynamic, a state that all athletes experience at some point.
