Sean John Combs, aka P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Largebaby, and Puffy is an American rapper, choreographer, actor and American record producer born November 4, 1969 in Harlem, New York. Diddy lost his father at 2 years old, and at 12 moved with his mother and sister to high-class neighborhood of Mount Vernon. He never missed anything thanks to her mother, restaurant chain. After finishing school, she went to private school, Mount St. Michael Academy, where he earned the nickname "Puffy", a pseudonym that would accompany him for a long time. The nickname was earned because, it is said, took heart in physical activities to look bigger than it actually was. After graduating, Puffy enrolled at Howard University in Washington DC where he enrolled for the first time in the music industry. She met Vernon popular Heavy D and it came through his friendship with Uptown Records executive Andrew Harrell. Once inside the company, but Puff did not escalate positions and make decisions increasingly important. In 1984 he was named vice president of A & R for Uptown, thanks to the trust reposed in the young Harrell. Puff Daddy himself was responsible for substantially improving the careers of artists such as Mary J. Blige and Biggie, receiving in return the sale of millions of records. In 1985, Puff Daddy got his first job as executive producer, overseeing the musical direction of Father MC successful album "Father's Day." In 1986, the company joined Uptown Records, but later form the successful Bad Boy Entertainment. For 1989, signed to Bad Boy Biggie. Two years later, Bad Boy got his second hit, "Flava In Ya Ear" Craig Mack, who went from being an unknown to a rap star. The hits kept coming, and all this thanks to Puff Daddy's eye, which signed artists like Notorious BIG, Usher, Faith Evans, Lil Kim, Mary J. 112 or Blige. But not everything was rosy in Bad Boy Entertainment, and in 1997 the most successful artist of the company and the best friend of Puff Daddy, Notorious BIG was murdered in Los Angeles. As a tribute to his friend, Diddy gave her songs "I'll Be Missing You" and "It's All About the Benjamins." The tribute which became classics of hip hop music. The debut album by Puff Daddy Puffy came in 1992 with Bad Boy Is that time but rap and hip hop did not have much acceptance in the public, but after more albums, made magic with its new production that became the best of No Way Out 1997 followed in 1999 with Forever. Innumrables has produced artists like Notorious BIG, Jay-Z, Nas, Method Man, Big Pun, Mariah Carey, Beyonce and other greats of world music. why he is considered as one of the greatest rappers.
