The Shedra, or college studies, Rigpa form gradually over several years a small group of students in Buddhist philosophy, in art of debate in traditional Tibetan and Tibetan. This training program has begun in the West, at Dzogchen Beara and Lerab Ling and continues for five years in Nepal, under the direction of Khenpo Namdrol, one of the most prominent Khenpos Nyingma school. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the Rigpa sangha in general, in addition to the teachings of Sogyal Rinpoche and courses offered in different Rigpa Centres in the world. Completely non-sectarian, it includes the writings of the most important Indian and Tibetan masters, including works on the sutra and tantra.
