Manuel Trucco Franzani (Cauquenes, March 18, 1875 - Santiago, October 25, 1954) was a Chilean politician who served as vice president of the Republic for a brief period, between September 3 and November 15, 1932, brother the President of the Supreme Court of Chile Franzani Humberto Trucco. He studied at the School of Physical Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Chile, where he graduated in civil engineering in 1899. He devoted himself to teaching, he worked as director of the Railway Company and served as state senator and Malleco provinces between 1926 and 1930 Cautín by the Radical Party. During the vice presidency of Juan Esteban Montero, after the fall of Carlos Ibáñez del Campo, Trucco was called to take the interior ministry. When Montero ran for the presidency of Chile in the 1931 elections, had to leave the top, giving it to his interior minister on 20 August of that year. During his brief tenure had to face the revolt of the squadron, major episode that was put on air support for the newly created Air Force. Montero's victory, he redelivery vice Trucco November 15 to take over as president in property on 4 December. Manuel Trucco in 1946 returned to public life by assuming the Central Bank president, a position he held until 1951, under the government of Gabriel González Videla.
