The Medical Center of Columbia University (in English at Columbia University Medical Center and CUMC), is the medical complex hospital associated with Columbia University in New York. It is several blocks of buildings between 165th 168th streets, the Henry Hudson Parkway in the Audubon Avenue in Washington Heights section of Manhattan. The hospital connecting the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University (Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons) College of Dentistry School of Nursing and School of Public Health Joseph Mailman . It houses part of the New York Presbyterian Hospital (New York-Presbyterian Hospital) which was formerly known as the Independent Presbyterian Hospital. The Psychiatric Institute, New York (New York State Psychiatric Institute) is also at CUMC, as well as Children's Hospital Morgan Stanley (Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital), located at New York-Presbyterian and the Biomedical Research Park Audubon (Audubon Biomedical Research Park). The CUMC was built in the 1920s on the former site of Hilltop Park, where once stood the stadium of the New York Yankees. The land was donated by Edward Harkness, who also financed the bulk of the construction of the first buildings. It was designed to host both a medical school and a hospital and was the first academic medical center in the world. Formerly known as Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (CPMC) has changed its name in 1997 during the creation of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital by merger of two medical centers both affiliated with a university in the Ivy League (Ivy League ), the CPMC and the Cornell Medical Center - Hospital of New York. The latter was previously the hospital of attachment of Weill Cornell Medical College (Weill Cornell Medical College). The "Federation of Inter-University for speaking Virtual Medical University (FIU-UMVF) is a national public interest group (GIP), created on joint decision of the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research and the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, published in the Official Gazette of August 13, 2003. The hormone "youth", DHEA could have a major influence on positive women with fertility problems. According to a study conducted by Professor Adrian Shulman of the Sackler Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tel Aviv, Israel, a treatment for infertility completed the capture of DHEA would increase by three times the odds of having a child. The study was recently published in the journal of the Israel Association of fertility, Ayala. The study focused on two groups, one receiving treatment "basic" to fight against infertility, the second had the same treatment to which was added a daily dose of DHEA.
